Disney is a media powerhouse, so it's really no surprise that it's created an attractive, popular streaming service like Disney+. Nobody can deny that Disney's original content has always been high-quality, and adding franchises like Marvel and Star Wars to the mix does nothing but solidify Disney's reputation for excellence.
The pricing isn't terrible, but we'd still like to see Disney+ bring it down a few dollars. Providing a free trial would also be a big boost for this platform, although its many promos and partnerships definitely help with money-saving offers

Extensive library - more than just kids' programming
Whether you're a child or an adult, feeling nostalgic or looking for something new to watch, Disney+ has the answer. Your favourite Disney classic movies and Disney Channel programs are all available, as are the newer kid-friendly shows and films. From Marvel superhero action to glamorous reality TV to your favourite little blue dog(s), the entertainment catalogue is extensive.
4K streaming, offline viewing, and more
A Premium subscription provides 4K UHD and HDR quality streaming, but even the two lower tiers provide 1080p full HD, so you'll always have a beautiful picture. Premium and Standard tiers allow for downloads and offline viewing as well as ad-free content. The Standard With Ads tier is still surprisingly good, with access to the full content library.
Content ratings control
Users can create 7 different profiles on their Disney+ account and each profile can have specific content ratings. Choose from a range of film and TV ratings and the chosen profile will only see content that specific rating or lower. There's even a "Junior Mode" setting that makes it easy to ensure your child only sees shows and movies appropriate for young viewers.
Lots of promos from various partnerships
Disney+ doesn't technically have a free trial, but you've still got promotional options. CIBC recently offered new CIBC Smart Account clients a promo offer for 6 months of free Disney+ viewing. Koodo currently offers a Stream+ bundle that allows its cell phone customers to add Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney+ to their account for a discounted price.

You've got 3 tiers to choose from: $8.99 per month for Standard with Ads, $12.99 per month for Standard, and $15.99 for Premium (and slightly discounted annual options for the two higher tiers). These aren't the best streaming prices we've seen, so if you're looking for affordability, this isn't your best choice.
No free trial
It's becoming more common for streaming services not to offer a free trial, but we're still disappointed that Disney+ doesn't give new users a chance to try them out at no charge. Its promos and partnerships are definitely helpful in this area, but it's not the same as a free trial.
