How to enter
It's easy to participate in the contest:
- Complete the first introductory World Cup Contest Quest in the GeniusCash app to opt in.
- This step will grant you a cool 25 entries into the contest.
Once you've opted in, you can gain more entries by doing the following:
- Completing future World Cup Contest Quests: 25 entries
- Sharing World Cup Contest Quests with a friend*: 25 entries
- Completing any other Quest in the app once you've opted in: 5 entries
- Refer someone to the app: 250 entries once the other person creates an account and logs in
* Each World Cup Contest Quest will give you a clear, specific spot to tell us who you shared it with. Those in-Quest moments are the only shares that count toward the 25 entries.
The more entries you make, the better your chances of winning one of the GeniusCash prizes!
How the prizes work
The prizes have been seeded with awards of $10, $2, and $1 in GeniusCash, and as the number of entries rises, higher and higher award tiers will be unlocked.
Every eligible Quest, share, and referral counts toward the next unlock level.

Second and third prizes climb alongside the grand prize as levels unlock, starting at $1 in GeniusCash and $2 in GeniusCash and rising to a maximum of $20 and $10 respectively.
The prize levels at the close of the GeniusCash World Cup Contest represent the final prize amounts. Bring more players in to push it higher for everyone!
How winners are selected
Winners are chosen by random draw from all eligible entries received before the GeniusCash World Cup Contest end date and time.
- Grand prize: up to $100 in GeniusCash
- 2nd prize: up to $20 in GeniusCash
- 3rd prize: up to $10 in GeniusCash
Maximum total award: $130 in GeniusCash. Prizes will be credited to the winner's GeniusCash account balance in the app after the draw takes place and winners have been contacted.
Contest dates
The GeniusCash World Cup Contest runs from June 25, 2026 – July 15, 2026 at 11:59 PM PDT.
Winners will be announced on or before July 31, 2026.

Contest rules
- Open to Canadian residents who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at time of entry.
- No purchase necessary. You must have a GeniusCash account to participate.
- Completing the introductory World Cup Contest Quest opts you in to the GeniusCash World Cup Contest and awards 25 entries. Completing other Quests without first completing the introductory World Cup Contest Quest does not earn contest entries.
- Additional entries may be earned as follows: completing future World Cup Contest Quests (25 entries each); sharing a World Cup Contest Quest with a friend (25 entries per share); completing any other Quest in the GeniusCash app during the contest dates after opting in (5 entries each); referring another user to the GeniusCash app who subsequently creates an account and logs in to the app (250 entries).
- Entries are non-transferable and have no cash value.
- The GeniusCash World Cup Contest opens on June 25, 2026 at 9:30 AM PDT and closes on July 15, 2026 at 11:59 PM PDT. Entries received after this time will not be eligible.
- Winners are chosen by random draw from all eligible entries received before the contest closes. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received at time of draw.
- There will be three (3) winners, with maximum prize values of $100, $20, and $10 in GeniusCash. Prizes are awarded in GeniusCash. The maximum cash value of all prizes combined is $130.00 CAD, based on a value of $1 GeniusCash = $1 CAD.
- Before a prize is awarded, the selected winner must correctly answer, without assistance, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question administered by Weymedia Inc. or its representatives.
- Winners will be notified by email at the address associated with their GeniusCash account on or before July 31, 2026. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, fails to answer the skill-testing question correctly, or does not respond within 14 days of notification, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected by random draw.
- To receive payout of any GeniusCash prize, the winner must have their payout preferences configured in the GeniusCash app prior to prize disbursement.
- Limit of one prize per person per GeniusCash account.
- GeniusCash reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the GeniusCash World Cup Contest at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.
- By entering, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal information for the purposes of administering the contest, in accordance with the GeniusCash Privacy Policy.
- Employees of WeyMedia Inc., its affiliates, and their immediate family members or persons domiciled with them are not eligible to enter.
- This contest is subject to all applicable federal and provincial laws. Void where prohibited.
