After yet another year, the 5th annual moneyGenius scholarship is now officially closed.

We evaluated hundreds of entries and arduously narrowed them down to the top 5 and we now have the deserving $2,000 winner!

And the 2024 moneyGenius scholarship winner is…

A huge congratulations to Andriy Hrabchuk, a fourth year student at the University of Waterloo!

Andriy is pursuing a degree in Social Development Studies – and his passion for his career path shone through in his application.

"While I originally wanted to go into engineering, this has been the right path for me… I love everything that I do, and am incredibly passionate about social policy. After my degree, I plan to go into further education for policy work, as I’d like to be an advocate… and contribute to systemic change."

Why do we run the moneyGenius scholarship?

At moneyGenius, we are huge advocates of education, especially when it comes to finances.
