Amazon Prime has announced a partnership with DoorDash Canada that offers a free one-year DoorDash food delivery membership for all Prime members. This means that the typical $120 charged for an annual DashPass will be completely waived for a year, but customers will still enjoy all the benefits and perks that come with it.
This offer is available for both new and existing Prime members. At the end of the one-year period, your DashPass membership will automatically renew at the set price. Click here to activate your free membership. Note that this offer ends on June 6, 2025.
2023 marks 10 years of Amazon Prime in Canada and this announcement adds to the long list of benefits and conveniences offered to its members. A Prime membership costs Canadians either $9.99 per month or $99 per year ($4.99 per month or $49 per year for students), and now this includes a complimentary one-time, year-long DashPass membership too.
A DashPass provides members with a list of benefits:
- no-fee delivery from participating restaurants, grocery, and convenience stores,
- lower service fees,
- 5% DoorDash credits on pickup orders, and
- exclusive members-only promotional offers.
On top of these standard features, those taking advantage of this new partnership with Amazon Prime will also receive a 50% off coupon for their first 3 DoorDash orders.
